The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is my absolute favorite sale of the year. I’ve been shopping the anniversary sale for almost a decade now. Thanks to the preview, by the time the sale starts I know exactly what I want to buy.
The best part of this sale? It’s not last season’s leftovers. Everything in the sale is curated for the end of summer and fall.
Whether you’re seasonally transitioning your wardrobe or curating a capsule wardrobe from scratch, the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary sale has you covered.

Men’s Buying Guide
This year, Nordstrom offers over 1,300 sale items for guys. That’s a lot of products to sift through, even for the most experienced shopper.
If you don’t like to shop or are overwhelmed, this guide is for you. Here are a few tried and true pieces to add to your online shopping bag.
AG Kace 28 360 Modern Straight Leg Jeans
The fall season calls for darker denim and these AG Kace 28 Modern straight leg jeans are perfect. They are great for transitioning from casual daytime to elevated date night.
Wear them with the cuffed, or not — you’ll look stylish either way. They feature AG’s patented 360 stretch to ensure comfort for all-day wear.

Nordstrom Slim Fit CoolMax Flat Front Performance Chinos
Every guy should have a versatile desk to dusk pant (provided you have a business casual dress code of course). These Nordstrom branded slim fit CoolMax performance chinos fit the bill.
They feature a slim fit and moisture wicking fabric. Not only are they versatile but they come in four different colors. They do have a zippered back pocket that you may (or may not) love.
If you’re looking for more refined pants, I suggest the Zanella Parker flat front wool mini-check dress pants. The wool fabric is ideal for cool weather, and they feature a subtle pattern for dimension and texture.
AG Wanderer 8.5-Inch Stretch Cotton Chino Shorts
Is your climate warm year round? Nordstrom didn’t leave you out. Refresh your shorts with these AG Wanderer stretch cotton chino shorts.
These shorts come in a variety of colors and the cotton is soft with a touch of stretch.
I realize that the length might be too long for some. However, use your member alterations benefit to obtain the length that fits you best.
Nike Tech Fleece Joggers
We’ve sampled many pairs of joggers and the general consensus is that many brands make them too long. The Nike Tech Fleece joggers make this list as one of the few pairs offered with a 28” inseam. Many brands’ start with a 30” inseam.
Additionally, Nike is fairly inclusive with their sizing. Nordstrom offers these joggers in an XS to an XXL and in regular, tall and extra tall lengths.
Personally, when it comes to athletic wear, I live and die by Lululemon or Vuori. However, I’ve owned two Nike Tech Fleece hoodies for almost 10 years now, and they still look brand new.
Elwood Core Crop Organic Cotton Tee
Don’t skip past this pick just because the word “crop” is in the title. We’re all built differently and the reality is some men of modest height also have short torsos. The Elwood Core Crop organic cotton tee measures at 26” in length.
It’s constructed with soft organic cotton, and at a $23 price point, it’s certainly worth trying. This particular color also is distressed at the neckline for a live-in, worn look.
If this street-style aesthetic isn’t your thing, I suggest the Slub Henley from Vince. This one is slightly longer at 27.5” but features a classic design.
Reiss Duchie Johnny Collar Short Sleeve Polo Sweater
Polo shirts are a dime a dozen. What makes the Reiss Duchie Johnny Collar short sleeve polo worth trying is the fabric. Instead of a pique, Supima or modal cotton, Reiss constructs this polo in a knitted sweater material.
It makes for a great addition to your wardrobe with an elevated feel.
The knit weave is so tight you don’t notice it’s a sweater polo unless you examine the fabric up close. It also adds a cool textural element to your outfit.
Eton Slim Fit Cotton Twill Dress Shirt
This Eton Slim Fit Cotton Twill Dress shirt takes a very classic style and adds a subtle twist. The taupe buttons interestingly contrast the bright white shirt but match the floral collar and cuff lining.
This Eton dress shirt features a slim fit, french placket, and crease-resistant cotton.
If you’re looking to expand your style and looking for something classic yet daring, give this dress shirt a whirl.
Rails Lennox Plaid Button-Up Shirt
Rails makes some of the best casual, plaid shirts, hands down. This Lennox plaid button-up shirt is no exception. Plus, casual plaids are synonymous with the fall season. You can wear this one layered as I do, or buttoned up on its own.
The gray, white, taupe colorway is subtle and versatile. Pair it with dark denim and boots for a classic, fall-friendly weekend ensemble.
Rails makes this shirt with a 29” length, so it might fall too long for some men.
AllSaints Luck Leather Jacket
I wholeheartedly believe that a leather jacket is a timeless piece in any person’s wardrobe. If there’s one thing that AllSaints does well, it’s making leather jackets.
I’ve walked into an AllSaints store numerous times to admire their leather creations. AllSaints crafts the Luck Leather Jacket from soft sheepskin leather. Trust me when I say it’s buttery soft.
This jacket caught my attention because it features a streamlined silhouette that never goes out of style. Yet it has a touch of a biker edge with the button closure at the waist.
Plus, it has a 26” length, ideal for shorter torsos.
Pendleton Arroyo Quilted Shirt Jacket
Shackets are here to stay. If you haven’t tried one yet, there’s no better time than the present. The Pendleton Arroyo quilted shirt jacket is the ideal blend of button-up shirt and jacket.
The box quilting offers the jacket feel, especially since it’s lined with polyester fill. Yet, the jacket has the silhouette of a classic shirt. The multi-color trim adds a nice Pendleton touch.
Reiss Gable Wool Blend Overcoat
Colder climates call for warm jackets. The Reiss Gable wool-blend overcoat is the perfect companion for any business formal attire. You can wear it with a more casual outfit as well. This jacket is understated yet handsome.
Additionally, the camel color is an undeniable classic and matches almost everything in your wardrobe.
Emporio Armani G-Line Virgin Wool Suit
A quintessential suit is the cornerstone of every man’s wardrobe. Whether you wear a suit on a daily basis or occasionally, it’s something you’ll always reach for at some point.
It’s also one of the pieces you should invest in. There’s nothing better than a well-fitting suit. If you’re looking to invest in a new suit, consider this Emporio Armani G-Line virgin wool suit.
Armani crafts this G-Line suit out of virgin wool. Virgin wool is the finest and softest wool you can get your hands on. It’s the wool taken from a sheep’s first shearing, the softest wool in a sheep’s lifetime, and it hasn’t been processed, woven, or recycled.
Allen Edmonds Patton Boots
If you need a new pair of boots this fall and winter, it’s time to invest in these Allen Edmonds Patton boots.
One of the things I like best is the deep charcoal color. You can wear them with black or brown and any color in between.
I think the color is one of the most versatile out there. And, if you’re investing in a pair of boots, or you’re a minimalist, versatility is exactly what you want.

TAFT Prince Double Monk Strap Shoes
TAFT is a newish brand that offers unique-looking dress shoes and boots. We’ve covered them twice already on the site.
Their Prince Double Monk Strap Shoes are unique because the buckles fasten on opposite sides of the shoe. They’re perfect to wear with tailored looks that are on the more casual side.
We’ve found TAFT shoes and boots to be of good quality, both on the styling side and on the construction side. So, these ought to be a safe bet.
Shinola Runwell Sub Second Nylon Strap
While you can’t dress up the Shinola Runwell Sub Second nylon strap watch, it’s a great alternative to a Hamilton field watch. Personally, I am a fan of the orange accents that remind me of the Rolex Milgauss which is my absolute favorite watch.
This field watch has a vintage feel, like something Indiana Jones would equip himself with on one of his adventures. Everything from the color combination to the nylon strap effortlessly works. And it works very well. Out of all of the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary sale watches this one might be my favorite.
The Shinola Canfield Sport leather strap watch is an equally stylish option if you’re looking for a watch with a bigger face.
Herschel Supply Co. Novel Duffel Bag and Dopp Kit
I mentioned earlier that these brands are tried and true. I’ve had firsthand experience with Herschel, as my 9-year-old carries the brand’s backpack to school.
She is HARD on her backpack, and after a year of everyday carry, it still looks brand new. That’s one of the reasons why I added the Herschel Supply Co. Novel Duffel Bag and matching Dopp Kit to this list.
Not only is this bag durable, but it’s made with recycled materials. There’s plenty of space for a weekend getaway, and I appreciate the shoe compartment. Who wants to mix their shoes with their clean clothes anyway?
Tom Ford Eric 55mm Sunglasses
Sunglasses are one of those items that you’ll wear year-round. Additionally, a quality pair like these Tom Ford Eric 55mm sunglasses will also last you years. Trust me, I know firsthand.
I have dropped my Tom Ford’s more times than I can count. They’ve been accidentally stepped on, worn in the water, and are now over ten years old. Could I use a new pair? Absolutely. But they look so good and are obviously super sturdy.

However, buying them stuff during the 2024 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale soothes the pain a little. Here are a few things to consider.
Nuna Rava and Nuna Pipa Car Seats
Are you a new parent? Maybe your little one is in need of a new car seat. If so, I highly recommend the Nuna Rava or Nuna Pipa, depending on your needs.
Both seats are incredibly easy to install and ideal for smaller cars where space is at a premium. Also, children are messy. Both of these options allow for cleaning the cover in a washing machine. (If you didn’t know, many car seats are spot-clean only.)
They are airport-certified, fire retardant free, and you can adjust the Rava harness with the click of a button.
You can buy the convenient Nuna Urbn version of the Pipa in a travel system with the TRVL stroller. The TRVL closes with one hand and on its own. It doesn’t get better (or easier) than that.
Little Giraffe Luxe Baby Blanket
Kids (and some adults) crave comfort. The Little Giraffe Luxe baby blanket offers just that. It’s super soft to the touch, features a satin trim, and keeps your little one warm on the coldest days
